Fitbit Charge 4 is the latest addition to Fitbit wearable technology, it succeeds the Charge 3 and comes with few additions like inbuilt GPS that allow you to track outdoor activities without carrying your phone along as well as NFC which is now available on all editions of the Charge 4 and enables Fitbit Pay that allows you to make payment directly from the device. The Charge 4 comes in two editions; Special and Regular editions, the difference is the additional woven polyester straps that come with the Special edition alongside the already existing elastomer straps.

The Difference

The difference between the Charge 4 Special and Regular edition is the additional woven polyester straps that come with the Special Edition alongside the elastomer present in both editions.

While the Special Edition is available in black/granite woven straps, the Regular edition is available in rosewood/rosewood, black/black, and storm blue/black colors.

Apart from these two differences, the Special and Regular edition have the same features as listed below.

Which Should Buy?

Both editions of the Charge 4 have the same features except for the additional woven polyester straps that come with the Special Edition, and that attracts about $20 extra. I think its a nice bargain, considering that buying additional straps might cost about the same amount which might not be of same quality as the one from Fitbit.

Otherwise, the Regular Edition is a popular choice among buyers and my preferred choice.
