Which is Better Between Galaxy Watch vs Fitbit Versa 3?

I will tell you that Galaxy Watch despite released 2 years ago is still a more complete smartwatch than Versa 3. It has more features and is more independent unlike Versa 3 that relies on the Fitbit app to install apps and watch faces.

However, Versa 3 is very lightweight and compact, unlike Galaxy Watch which is quite bulky. I could wear Versa 3 all day long without feeling the need to remove it. It also has a slightly longer battery life than Galaxy Watch. While Galaxy Watch gave me up to 3-4 days long battery life, Versa 3 gave me up to 6 days on average.

Fitbit Versa 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 – Which is Better?

Fitbit Versa 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2

The Versa 3 is one of the latest smartwatches from Fitbit, it was released alongside Fitbit Sense and Inspire 2, and comes with new additions such as a loudspeaker, up to 6 days long battery life, inbuilt GPS, and fast charging technology. This makes it a worthy competitor to Samsung’s Active 2 which was released last year but still runs on the latest Tizen OS. I have used both the Versa 3 and Active 2 and in this post, I will compare these two to help you decide which a better smartwatch for you.

Fitbit Versa 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2: Which is Better?

I like the fact that both Versa 3 and Active 2 can track all the basics such as my steps, distance, heart rate, calories, help me manage stress, floors climbed, and more. Each of these two also has an inbuilt GPS that allows me to track my routes and locations when I workout outdoors. Both Active 2 and Versa 3 will also allow you to log and track menstrual cycle for women. I also like the fact that each of these two has preloaded sport modes.

However, I can confidently tell you that Active 2 is a more complete smartwatch than Versa 3. It has a richer interface that allows you to install watch faces and apps directly from the watch unlike Versa 3 that will require you to use the Fitbit app to do any of these.

Both smartwatches offer music storage, but you can only download Pandora stations, download Deezer playlist, and control Spotify playlist on phone with Versa 3 unlike Active 2 that allows you to easily add your personal music as well as gives you access to all the other premium music services.

Both smartwatches feature preloaded sport modes, but Active 2 has 39 compared to 20 of Versa 3. Active 2 also features ECG and blood pressure monitoring which Versa 3 lacks.

It’s also easier to navigate Active 2 via touchscreen, digital rotating bezel, and two physical buttons unlike Versa 3 that only features a touchscreen and a haptic touch-sensitive button that I find very annoying.

The only aspect where Versa 3 wins over Active 2 is battery life. While Active 2 gave me about 2 days on average, Versa 3 lasted up to 6 days on average.

VERDICT: Active 2 is a more complete smartwatch than Versa 3 which at best is more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch. So, if you’re looking to choose between these two, Active 2 is clearly a better smartwatch, while Versa 3 shines with it’s longer battery life.

  1. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3
  2. best samsung smartwatch

First on this list is Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, it’s the most sophisticated and best Samsung smartwatch. It was recently released in August and succeeds Galaxy Watch which was released in 2018. It’s a lifestyle and health tracking smartwatch packed in one.

Galaxy Watch 3 is an attractive smartwatch, thanks to it’s stylish and elegant design. It comes in two sizes 45mm and 41mm, both are compact, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. It’s a sturdily built smartwatch made of stainless steel case and genuine leather straps, while Corning Gorilla Glass DX covers the screen. Galaxy Watch 3 is easy to navigate with its touchscreen support, 2 physical buttons, and the physical rotating bezel which is now smoother.

The AMOLED display is very colorful, interactive, and can easily be read even under sunlight. This watch is rated 5ATM which means it’s waterproof up to 50 meters.

Galaxy Watch 3 comes with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM that ensures smooth performance. It also has a microphone that enables Bixby voice assistant and a loudspeaker that allows you to make and receive calls by connecting to a compatible smartphone. You can also make a payment from Galaxy Watch 3. This watch will also keep you connected to updates by alerting you when you receive a notification on your phone.

Galaxy Watch 3 is a comprehensive health tracker, it features the most health tracking features than any other Samsung smartwatch. It will track your steps, calories, sleep, stress, and heart rate. Moreover, it greeted new health tracking features such as blood oxygen tracking that monitors how well your blood absorbs oxygen. Menstrual cycle tracking for women and blood pressure monitoring are also available.

Galaxy Watch 3 has an ECG sensor that can detect irregular heart rhythm as well as features 40 preloaded workout modes and can auto-track 7 of those.

The battery life of Galaxy Watch 3 is quite impressive, you can get up to 2 days long battery life with the 45mm model and about 1 day or more with the 41mm model.

    Pros

    • Attractive and sophisticated design.
    • A comprehensive health tracker.
    • A standalone smartwatch.
    • 8GB storage capacity.

    Cons

    • Price is on the high side.
  3. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2
  4. Galaxy Watch Active 2 is my second best Samsung smartwatch. It’s the closest to Galaxy Watch 3 in terms of features.

Active 2 which was released in 2019 succeeded Galaxy Active and features a digital rotating bezel instead of a physical rotating bezel on Galaxy Watch. It’s very stylish and has a charming appearance. You can get Active 2 in two sizes; 40mm and 44mm.

One of the main reasons I like this smartwatch is that it’s very lightweight and compact. It’s very easy to navigate with touchscreen support, the physical buttons, and as well a digital rotating bezel.

Active 2 packs a lot of fitness tracking features that can track your active life comprehensively and can help you reach more fitness goals. It can track your sleep, heart rate, calories, stress and features 39 preset work-out modes to choose from.

It can also monitor your blood pressure and features ECG tracking, both features are yet to be approved by the FDA as of the time of this publication.

Active 2 comes with 4GB storage capacity that lets you store music on this device. You can also stream your favorite tracks with Spotify. You can also access the Bixby voice assistant and it has a loudspeaker that enables you to make and receive from this watch.

You can get up to 2 days of battery life with the Active 2.

    Pros

    • Lightweight, compact and sophisticated design.
    • A comprehensive health tracker.
    • A standalone smartwatch.

    Cons

    • Not so many apps on Galaxy store.
  5. Samsung Galaxy Watch
  6. Samsung Galaxy Watch. Although released in 2018, Samsung Galaxy Watch is still one of the best Samsung smartwatches and of course one of the best on the market.

It has a design very similar to the latest Galaxy Watch 3 mentioned earlier. It features a physical rotating bezel that gives it a traditional watch appearance and makes navigation very easy.

Galaxy watch has a sophisticated and sturdy build that consists of stainless steel case and silicone straps that can be swapped with a compatible 22mm/20mm for the 46mm and 42mm respectively. The display is very attractive and rich in color.

Performance is also smooth, while it comes with 4GB storage capacity that allows you to store your favorite tracks on the watch. It also has a microphone and loudspeaker that allow you to make and receive calls directly from the watch.

Although, there’s an LTE model just like the Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2 that make and receive calls without a smartphone.

Galaxy Watch is also a comprehensive fitness tracker that can track your daily activities and help you reach more fitness goals.

One aspect of Galaxy Watch that makes it a popular choice is it’s up to 4 days long battery life.

    Pros

    • Solid and rugged design.
    • A comprehensive health tracker.
    • A standalone smartwatch.

    Cons

    • Quite heavy and bulky
    • Not so many apps on the Galaxy store ecosystem.
  7. Samsung Gear S3
  8. Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is a predecessor to Galaxy Watch that was released in 2016. Although aging, it still holds its own as one of the best smartwatch ever built by Samsung. It’s got the signatory physical rotating bezel in Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch 3 which in addition to physical buttons and touchscreen makes navigation easy.

It has a 1.3 inches AMOLED powered display that’s colorful and easy to read. It’s also sturdy, built with a stainless steel case and silicone straps that don’t attack the skin. There’s the Gear S3 classic that comes with leather straps.

Gear 3 can track your sleep, heart rate, calories and it features preset work-out modes to choose from. It also has an inbuilt GPS that enables outdoor activity tracking.

You get 4GB storage capacity on Gear S3 that allows you to take your favorite tracks with you. It also has a microphone and loudspeaker that enables the Bixby voice assistant and allows you to make and receive calls from the watch via Bluetooth connectivity. Although, there’s an LTE model that can make and receive calls independent of a smartphone.

The battery life of Gear S3 is quite impressive and can get you up to 2-3 days of battery life.

    Pros

    • Durably design.
    • A comprehensive health tracker.
    • A standalone smartwatch.

    Cons

    • Rated IP68.
    • Not so many apps on the Galaxy store ecosystem.
  9. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active
  10. Last, but not the list is Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. It’s the predecessor to Active 2, it has a digital rotating bezel, but lacks a loudspeaker and can’t make calls.

Yet, Galaxy Active is still one of the best Samsung smartwatches, it’s lightweight, compact, and very comfortable to wear.

It has a 1.1 inches AMOLED display that’s quite small, but can still be read clearly.

It also comes with a 4GB storage capacity that allows you to take your favorite tracks with you. And has a microphone that enables Bixby voice assistant. You can also make a payment from this watch.

Galaxy Active is equipped to track your daily activities such as steps, sleep, heart rate, calories, and stress. • A comprehensive health tracker.

    Cons

    • Lacks loudspeaker.
    • Not a standalone smartwatch.
    • Not so many apps on the Galaxy store ecosystem.

This is where I draw the curtain, Samsung smartwatches are some of the most popular and best rated on market. In my opinion, the 5 mentioned in this list remain the best you can get from Samsung.

Editor's Rating
  1. Design and Apperance
  2. There’s no doubt that both the Active 2 and GT 2 are fantastic smartwatches. But then, taking into consideration the minutes differences like the size, appearance, and more. Despite having a slightly bigger 1.4 inches display size, the Active 2 is still a more compact smartwatch compared to the 46mm GT 2 that’s somewhat bulky. There’s also a smaller sized GT 2 42mm which lacks Bluetooth calling feature.

With Active 2, you get more watch faces compared to the GT 2 with fewer watchfaces to choose from. Active 2 has a digital rotating bezel which the GT 2 lacks, and in addition, is the touch-responsive display and 2 physical buttons that make navigating the interface very easy. Although, the GT 2 is still very much easy to navigate with the touchscreen support and 2 physical buttons.

  3. Connectivity and Notifications
  4. Both the Active 2 and GT 2 will allow you make and receive calls directly from the watch by connecting to your phone Bluetooth, but the Active 2 LTE model is a standalone smartwatch and comes with eSIM that enables cellular connectivity and allows you to make and receive calls from the watch independent of your phone.

While you can store music on both the GT 2 and Active 2, you can only stream music from popular services such as Spotify on Active 2.

Moreover, the Active 2 gives you more options to respond to messages using your voice or preset messages, a feature the GT 2 lacks. There’s also a Bixby voice assistant feature that allows you to do simple tasks simply with your voice unlike the GT 2 which lacks voice assistant features.

Samsung Pay is also present on Active 2 and allows you to make payments directly from the watch unlike the GT 2 which has this feature restricted to only the Chinese version.

  5. Fitness Tracking
  6. Both the GT 2 and Active 2 are fitness-focused smartwatches that are well equipped to track your active life comprehensively. Each of these two will track your sleep and heart rate comprehensively, calories, stress, steps, and many other related metrics with inbuilt GPS enabling outdoor activity tracking. But the GT 2 features menstrual cycle and blood oxygen tracking that the Active 2 lacks. Meanwhile, the Active 2 features more preloaded sport modes than you can get on the GT 2, it also features blood pressure and ECG tracking which the GT 2 lacks.

In all, both the GT 2 and Active 2 have lots of fitness tracking features that can help you reach more fitness goals.

  7. Battery Life

Battery life is where the GT 2 shines far above the Active 2, it has a longer battery life than the Active 2. With GT 2, you can get over a week battery life with mixed usage which is far longer than about 3 days of Active 2.

  • Which is Better?

Personally I think the GT 2 is a more attractive smartwatch than Active 2, but I’ll choose the Active 2 over the GT 2 anytime.

The Active 2 is a smarter smartwatch with more features that can improve your productivity. However, GT 2 is a better choice if you want to go long from a single charge, it’s also one of the best fitness trackers, and that makes it a great bargain.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 (40mm) Bluetooth vs LTE – Which Should You Buy?

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 (40mm) Bluetooth vs LTE

The very popular Galaxy Watch Active 2 which succeeds in the Galaxy Active 1 comes in two sizes; 40mm and 44mm, and each of these two sizes is available in LTE and Bluetooth only model. As you may have guessed, the difference in sizes, is Samsung giving users options to choose the size that best fits your wrist. Like I have already recommended in my previous comparison of the Active 2 44mm vs 40mm, the 40mm model is a better choice for women and anyone with a small wrist, while the bigger 44mm model is more suitable wear for men or those with fat wrist. Don’t get me wrong, any of these two can make a fantastic fit for both men and women, but it depends on your wrist size. However, in this post, I’ll be comparing the Galaxy Active 2 (40mm) Bluetooth vs LTE to help you decide which of these two smartwatches will make a better choice for you.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 (40mm) Bluetooth vs LTE: The Differences

    1. Case Material
    2. The first difference between the LTE and Bluetooth model of Active 2 is the case material. While the LTE has a case made of a more durable stainless steel material, the Bluetooth has a case material made of aluminum which is lighter. So if you mind the slight difference in weight, then the Bluetooth model will make a better choice. Moreover, its a more suitable wear if you do lots of sport activities where every difference in weight matters.

    3. Weight
    4. Secondly, as a result of the difference in case materials, the Bluetooth model at 26g weighs a little less than the LTE model, 37g. Although, each of these is still very lightweight when compared to the industry average of 65-80g (including straps).

    5. Straps
    6. The straps also differ, while the Bluetooth model comes with fluoroelastomer straps, the LTE model comes with leather straps which leaves it with a classic, and more classy appearance.

    7. Colors
    8. There is also difference in the available color options, while you can get the LTE models in silver, black and gold colors, the Bluetooth model is available in cloud-silver, aqua-black, and pink-gold colors.

    9. Cellular Connectivity

The main difference between the Bluetooth and LTE model of the Active 2 is the presence of eSIM in the LTE model that enables cellular connectivity up to 4G LTE, a capability the Bluetooth model lacks. This makes the LTE model a standalone smartwatch as it allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch independent of your phone. This comes with its level of convenience that can be very helpful in certain circumstances.

You can still make and receive calls from the Bluetooth model, but you’ll need to connect to your phone Bluetooth to do that, which means you’ll have to carry your phone along if you must make a call from the watch. I don’t think this matters much, and its cheaper which is why I ordered the Bluetooth model.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 (40mm) Bluetooth vs LTE: Which is Better For You?

Besides the differences in straps, colors, weight, case material, and cellular connectivity, the Bluetooth and LTE both have the same features. So, it all boils down to price and the additional features which make the LTE a more comprehensive smartwatch.

You should buy the LTE model if you really care about the standalone features, but it’ll cost you more money. I still prefer the Bluetooth model, its no doubt a decent choice.

Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm) LTE vs Bluetooth – The Difference

Despite being around for almost two years since it was released in August 2018, the Galaxy Watch is still one of the best smartwatches you can buy today. For one, it runs on the same Tizen 4 as Active 2 and was also updated with most of the UX features on Active 2. You can get the Galaxy Watch in two sizes; 42mm and 46mm. Each of these two is available in LTE or Bluetooth only. In this post, I compare the Samsung Galaxy Watch Bluetooth vs LTE to find out the differences.

Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm) LTE vs Bluetooth: Video Comparison

Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm) LTE vs Bluetooth: The Difference

    • The design on the LTE and Bluetooth is the same, it’s same colorful AMOLED display, physical rotating bezel, and stainless steel material for the case. The 22/24mm straps are the same on both sizes.
    • The fitness tracking features are also the same, you can expect any of these two to track your steps, floors climbed, calories, heart rate, sleep, outdoor activities like routes and locations.
    • However, the difference between the Bluetooth and LTE model is the presence of cellular connectivity on the LTE model which the Bluetooth model lacks. As a result, the LTE model is a standalone smartwatch that allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch.
    • You can also make and receive calls from the Bluetooth model, but it must be connected to your phone which can cause some level of inconvenience especially while running or in the middle of another activity.
    • The LTE model also has a higher 1.5GB RAM compared to 0.76GB of the Bluetooth model. I can really say how this affects performance on the LTE model, but from my experience, the Bluetooth model has one of the best and flawless performance I’ve seen on different smartwatches. Mind you, LTE isn’t available in every country of the world.
    • On average, the Bluetooth only Galaxy watch 46mm can go up to 4 days from a single charge, this is higher than that of the 42mm of 2 days or more. You can expect the LTE models to go a little less than this considering the cellular features.

    Which is Better?

I’m not a fan of standalone smartwatches because I think it complicates what a watch should be, but there are people who like standalone functionality in smartwatches probably because of the convenience and freedom it gives the phone. If you’re like me, the Bluetooth model is a great choice, while the LTE is a more comprehensive smartwatch and a great choice for anyone that fancies standalone features, but will cost you some extra bucks.

As you can see, the 46mm model is more compact than the 42mm model. This also results in the higher weight of the 46mm model, but you can see a little more at a glance on the 46mm’s 1.3 inches display. You can get the 46mm in black or silver, while the 42mm is available in rose-gold and midnight-black color. You’ll have to spend a little more to get the 46nm model.

The battery capacity of these two also differs, the 46mm model has a bigger 472mAh battery capacity than 270mAh of the 42mm model. This of course, despite the 46mm having a bigger display that requires more battery last longer than the 42mm. The video below confirms that the 46mm model has about 4 days long battery life compared to the 2 days of the 42mm.

    Which is Better?

I can’t really say which is better between these two watches, the features and design are the same except for differences in sizes and battery life. It all depends on your wrist size. The 46mm which is a bit bulky looks cool on men, while the 42mm looks awesome on women especially the rose-gold color version. Personally, I really like the 46mm model, it looks bold and rugged.

    Editor's Rating
    1. Design
    2. Although the Galaxy Watch succeeded the Gear S3, there isn’t any clear difference in the design. In fact, merely looking at these two, they look pretty much the same. Except for the Gear S3 classic which has the classical appearance of your regular traditional watch. AMOLED still powers the 1.3′ display on both smartwatches which is very much vivid and colorful. And these two have about the same weight and dimension.

However, the Galaxy Watch has more features like good night mode and theater mode that keeps you off from distractions. The Galaxy watch running on a more recent Tizen OS features more watch faces compared to Gear S3 with fewer options to choose from.

    3. Waterproof Rating
    4. Galaxy Watch is rated 5ATM (50 meters) compared to IP68 (1.5 meters) of the Gear S3. As a result, you can wear the Galaxy Watch to the pool or even ocean to a depth of 50meters, but not recommended for the Gear S3. Moreover, the Galaxy has a water lock mode that allows you to eject water from the speaker.

    5. Processor and OS
    6. The Galaxy Watch runs on Tizen 4.0.0.1 which is higher than 3.0.0.1 of the Gear S3. And also powered by a higher Exynos 9110 compared to 7270 of the Gear S3. However, there isn’t any noticeable difference in the performance of these two. Performance looks awesome on both devices.

    7. Battery Life
    8. The Galaxy Watch comes with a bigger 470mAh battery capacity compared to 380mAh of the Gear S3. However, both watches have about the same battery life of 3 days or more with light usage.

    9. Fitness Tracking

Both the Galaxy Watch and Gear S3 are fitness smartwatches equipped to track your active life comprehensively. However, the Galaxy Watch has more preloaded sport modes built-in compared to Gear S3 with lesser sport modes to choose from.

    Which is Better?

In all, each of these two is a fine smartwatch worth investing in, but I’ll go with the Galaxy Watch. It has more features and a more comprehensive fitness tracker than the Gear S3.

Samsung Galaxy Fit vs Fit e – What’s the Difference?

Samsung Galaxy Fit vs Fitbit Inspire HR

The Galaxy Fit released alongside the Fit e are two very lightweight smartbands that are well equipped to track your active life. While both smartbands are fitness-focused, the Galaxy Fit has more features than the Fit e. It comes with more sensors and features more fitness tracking capabilities than the lower-priced Fit e. It also has a richer display and NFC that allows you to make a payment from the device. I’ll be taking a look at the specs and features of the Galaxy Fit vs Fit e to find out the differences and of course, you’ll be better informed on which is better for you.

    Editor's Rating

Looking at the design, the Galaxy Fit is slightly bigger than Fit e, this translates to a bigger display and it weighs a little more than the Fit e. No doubt, these two are some of the lightest fitness trackers you can find on the market. Still on the design, the Galaxy Fit has a bigger and richer AMOLED display that’s vivid and lively compared to the Fit e which has a PMOLED monochrome display that’s not so rich in colors, but easily legible outdoors.

The Galaxy Fit also supports touchscreen just like the Fit e but has an extra button by the side that makes navigation a little easier.

The battery capacity also differs with the Fit having a higher battery capacity, but one will expect the Galaxy Fit with a richer AMOLED display to take more power compared to the Fit e with PMOLED. Moreover, the Fit also has more software and hardware that require more power. So it’s pertinent to say that the battery life of these two is about the same just as confirm in the video review below.

The Galaxy Fit is also equipped with an NFC chip that enables Samsung Pay allowing you to make a payment directly from the device which the Fit e lacks. Moreover, you can send preset texts from the Galaxy Fit, but not on the Fit e.

Looking at the fitness tracking features, like I mentioned earlier each of these two is fitness-focused and designed to track your active life. However, the Galaxy Fit is a more comprehensive tracker, it comes with both accelerometer and gyroscope compared to the Fit e with only accelerometer. As a result, it tracks more activities and has more preloaded modes.

    Conclusion

In conclusion, I’ll say the Galaxy Fit is clearly a better smartband than the Fit e. It has a better design, more features that enables it to track more activities and the display is awesome. You may also go for the Fit e, it’s cheaper and a decent activity tracker.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 vs Galaxy Watch Active – The Difference

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 vs Galaxy Watch Active

The Galaxy Active wasn’t a successor to the Galaxy Watch, but it came in a very compact design with some very nice features. 6 months later, Samsung released the Galaxy Watch Active 2 which was equipped with a handful of features that its predecessor lacked such as rotating bezel, wider display, more durable, and enhanced activity tracking. Active 2 has of recent been cleared in South Korea for ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Meanwhile, the Active 2 comes in two sizes, 44mm and 40mm, and both are available in LTE and Stainless steel material. In this post, I compare the Galaxy Watch Active 2 vs Galaxy Watch Active to identify the differences between these two smartwatches.

    Editor's Rating
From the specs above, Active 2 is clearly a better smartwatch. It has a slightly larger display that allows you to see more at a glance. Moreover, the new MyStle app allows you to easily customize the watch face to what you’re wearing. While not forgetting the digital rotating bezel which was omitted in the Galaxy Watch Active, but now present on the Active 2. Samsung however, updated the Active with the digital rotating bezel. You can watch it in the video below.

Furthermore, while the Active has a case made of aluminum, the Active 2 is available in stainless steel and aluminum with the later representing the non-LTE model and the former is the LTE model. However, the Active is a more compact device than Active 2 which results in it’s lower weight, but in all, each of these two is a very lightweight smartwatch.

Going by the fitness tracking features, both the Active and Active 2 are well equipped to track your active life comprehensively. However, while each of these two is able to track your steps, sleep, distance, floors climbed, routes, heart rate, and calories, the Active 2 is a more holistic fitness tracker than the Active. Active 2 has an enhanced heart rate tracker which contains 8-LED compared to 4-LED on the Active. And like mentioned earlier, the Active 2 has been cleared in South Korea for ECG tracking and blood pressure monitoring joining the likes of Apple Watch 5 which also has the ECG tracking feature. Moreover, Active 2 has a better 32G accelerometer compared to 16G of the Active, this can ensure more accurate tracking and responsiveness to workouts.

The Stainless steel model of the Active 2 has LTE support which makes it a standalone smartwatch that allows you to make and receive calls without needing your phone. This feature might not be so enticing, but for individuals who need it, its a great addition that can help stay connected without having to carry your phone along.

The battery life of these two is about average when compared to all other smartwatches on the market. The Active has been tested to go about 2 days or more with light usage, while Active 2 with its bigger battery life, but bigger display will last about the same time as the Samsung Active watch.

    Conclusion

Clearly, Active 2 is a better smartwatch than the Active. It looks more beautiful no doubt, and with the addition of digital rotating bezel, its easier to navigate. Active 2 is also a better activity tracker than the Active with enhanced sensors and more fitness features, and the LTE model is a comprehensive smartwatch.

If you already own the Active, an upgrade isn’t all that necessary. However, if you intend to buy a new smartwatch from Samsung, the Active 2 is your best bet.
